Myriam
Myriam was born and raised in the province of Quebec.  After completing studies in broadcasting journalism,  she moved to Vancouver to study at UBC.  She finishes her B.A. this spring,  majoring in International Relations.  Myriam will pursue a Masters in Political Science next September. For this project, she will analyze how IC is represented in mainstream medias. 

Asuka Ichikawa
Asuka is a fourth year international student from Japan majoring in International Relations (she would like to thank all the volunteers and those who are helping Japan from overseas for the Japan earthquake/tsunami disaster). From this fall, she will be attending the Keio Graduate School of Media and Governance in Tokyo. For this project, Asuka will research the role of Social Networking Sites in Invisible Children's project.

Caitlin Ohama-Darcus
Born and raised in Vancouver, Caitlin is completing her BA in International Relations at the University of British Columbia. After one year of work and travel, Caitlin plans to head back to school to study medicine with a focus on pediatrics and international health. For this project, she is exploring Invisible Children's movies.

Meredith Radke
Meredith is originally from Orinda, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. She moved to Vancouver 4 years ago to attend UBC in hopes of pursuing a medical degree, alas the universe had different plans. Meredith is now majoring in Political Science and minoring in African Studies. She will be traveling to Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania next year where she hope to see some of the IC campaign in action. She will be focusing on our newly coined "People Media" pillar for this project.

Linda Yang
Born in China, raised in Vancouver, Linda is finishing her BA in International Relations and English Literature. She will be studying at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in Halifax come September. She hopes to use her undergraduate studies while pursuing a focus on International Human Rights Law. For this project, Linda is exploring Invisible Children's website and campaign media.
